Young Adults In Global Mission
YAGM is a program through the Evangelical Lutheran Church that offers young adults the opportunity to serve with companions around the world. YAGM invites volunteers into a year of accompaniment, with ELCA global companion organizations and churches. Through this year, volunteers are challenged to live simply, live intentionally and live in solidarity. The YAGM program focuses on mutuality, understanding and togetherness. This year the YAGM program has over 90 volunteers serving in 11 different countries: Argentina/Uruguay, Australia, Cambodia, Central Europe, Jerusalem/West Bank, Madagascar, Mexico, Rwanda, Senegal, Southern Africa and the United Kingdom.
Through YAGMs, our home communities can witness what is happening in our world through a new perspective and lens. Together we walk on this journey in the world.
